Traill County exists in the state of North Dakota. A local census found that Traill County had 7,997 inhabitants in 2020. The current county seat is Hillsboro.
It was organized in 1875.
It was named for Walter John Strickland Traill, an employee of the Hudson's Bay Company.

NOTE - To get hold of records, Traill County requesters must follow several rules. The office has opening times of 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. CST from Monday to Friday.
