How Do I Visit an Inmate in Burleigh County Jail?

Friends and families can visit inmates at the Burleigh County detention center. Visitors are to schedule visits in advance before visitation. Visitation for inmates is held every Tuesday and Thursday (except holidays) from 1-4 pm. Visitors must be 18years, and above, minors below are to be accompanied by an adult, visitors must have photo identification, All visitors must be dressed appropriately, a maximum of two visitors allowed per inmate as each inmate is allowed a 20min visit per visitation day.

The Division of Vital Records maintains birth records in Burleigh County, North Dakota. However, the state allows public access to all birth records 125 years after they were filed. In Burleigh County, North Dakota, Death records are maintained by the Department of Health, Vital Records Division. Online: To obtain death certificates through the online order portal, the requester must first create an account with a valid email address and create a password. Following successful registration, the individual must fill out an order form and provide payment information in order to obtain copies of a death certificate.

Requesting a death certificate by mail or in-person costs $15 for the first copy and $10 for each additional copy.
